Over harvesting of donor grafts may be patient wish and forced doctor to give maximum coverage of baldness while donor area did not have capacity of more grafts. Secondly doctor or surgeon did not have enough experience and he or she crossed limit. An experience hair restoration surgeon did not extract too many grafts and there should be no issue of donor area thinning. Your doctor should not be aggressive while extracting grafts otherwise donor area will look like “moth eaten” appearance.
Fue donor area after 2 weeks

There is slight thinning which will take few weeks more to come closer as skin would contract. Sometimes there is sensitivity in the donor area and icing to the effected part will improve the condition. Skin becomes normal and no swelling is being noticed. However during this time if someone will feel mild discomfort, paracetamol tablet can be taken to control it.
